Research Engineer, High-Pressure Systems

We are currently recruiting for the position of Research Engineer for High-Pressure Sample Environment Systems. Your primary tasks will be to develop, integrate (and later operate and maintain) the innovative sample environment systems for High Pressure at ESS. During the first years within the position at ESS you will focus on sample environment systems needed to enable first science when the facility enters operation.

Sample Environment Scientific Associate – Low Temperature and Magnets

We are seeking individuals with integration background in hardware/software, strong troubleshooting ability, and computer literacy.

As member of the Sample Environment group you will assemble, install, troubleshoot, test, maintain, repair, and operate specialized laboratory equipment used to conduct scientific experiments at Oak Ridge National Lab Spallation Neutron Source Facility and HFIR Facility.
