Soft Matter Sample Environment Equipment

Committee MembersForumLinks

Neutron and x-ray scattering techniques are indispensable tools for soft condensed matter and life science research. They are used to determine the structure of bio-molecules like proteins, the composition of membranes, the dynamics of complex fluids and polymers and provide important information on a lengths scales ranging from µm down to the atomic level.

Within this committee, we foster the discussion on sample environment requirements from the soft matter and life science communities. We hope that this will stimulate the development of new SE capabilities and improve cross facility access.
