SINQ, the Swiss neutron source at the Paul Scherrer Institute, offers a broad range of sample environment devices:
- Low temperatures down to below 50 mK with dilution inserts
- High fields up to 14.9 Tesla, combined with dilution inserts (11 T for SANS)
- High temperatures up to 1800 K, with controlled atmosphere
- High pressures up to 10 GPa / 3 Gpa, combined with low temperatures (4 K / 1.5 K)
- Electric fields combined with low temperatures
