AS Special Devices is a company based in Grenoble, France, with special expertise in scientific instrumentation under extreme conditions. The common denominator of our realizations is the sample environment of beamlines.
Grenoble is a leading place for fundamental research, with European institutions running large scale instruments, like ESRF, ILL and LNCMI but also cutting edge French laboratories of the CNRS, CEA and UGA. We are already working for a number of them and nowadays we are looking forward to expand our expertise all around the world.

In partnership with specialized professionals, we carry out projects from specifications or draws to bring our customers a turnkey device. We stand out for also making those bespoke devices that need a very special expertise.
At the time of nanotechnology, we have designed and constructed vibration-free instruments with nanometer-sized spatial stability as nitrogen and helium optical cryostats adapted to the measurement geometry.
