ISIS Facility, 23 – 27th of February
From 11 facilities (ESS, ILL, J-PARC, J-RR3, JCNS, KAERI, MLZ, NCNR, ORNL, PSI, U. Tokyo) worldwide, 21 school students came to ISIS attending 25 lectures and 18 practical lab courses. The school was made possible by a remarkable endeavour of the ISIS Sample Environment team: Andy Church, Richard Down, Dr. Beth Evans, Chris Goodway, Dr. Oleg Kirichek and Zoe Bowden.
Of course, the school would not have been possible without the many speakers who were willing to come at the expense of their facilities and to share their expert knowledge. It was a great example of the continuing collabora- tion within the worldwide sample environment community!
