Herewith, we invite you officially to the next ISSE General Assembly which will take place during this 10th International Workshop in Berlin/Potsdam on Wednesday 5 September 2018 at 9:00. The agenda of this Plenary Meeting will be distributed well in advance of the workshop. The deadline for abstract submission is extended to 10 June 2018 (Central European Summer Time). Proceedings of the workshop will also be published and we invite you to submit manuscripts. The deadline and technical details will be provided soon.

Registration for the 10th International Workshop on Sample Environment at Scattering Facilities has begun!
The 10th ISSE workshop will be held in Potsdam and Berlin, Germany, in September. The workshop is held under the patronage of the International Society for Sample Environment and will focus on sample environments at neutron scattering and synchrotron radiation facilities.
We look forward to meeting many people from science, engineering and industry fostering exchange of new ideas, developing new standards and intensifying international cooperations.
The 13th International Conference on Synchrotron Radiation Instrumentation (SRI 2018) will be hosted by the National Synchrotron Radiation Research Center (NSRRC) from June 10 to 15, 2018. Among the numerous topics which will be discussed, there will be in-situ/operando techniques, high-pressure methods and the combination of IR with X-rays.
The abstract submission deadline is February 15 and the early-bird registration deadline is April 15.
The successful series of the International Workshop on Sample Environment at Scattering Facilities will celebrate its 10th edition in Potsdam and Berlin, Germany from September 2 to 7, 2018.
The Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin, housing the neutron facility BER II in Berlin-Wannsee (Lise-Meitner Campus) and the X-ray synchrotron facility BESSY II in Berlin-Adlershof (W.C. Röntgen Campus), invites technicians, engineers and scientists from all over the world to discuss and present novel sample environment equipment and related topics.

Participants of the ISSE workshop 2016
The posters and the presentations of the 9th edition of the ISSE workshop are now available to all ISSE members.
Organised by the NCNR and hosted by the University of Maryland, this workshop gathered 75 colleagues from neutron & x-ray scattering facilities worldwide as well as representatives from a few companies participating in the development of sample environment equipment. It took place at Liberty Mountain Resort, Gettysburg, PA, (USA) on the 19 – 22nd of September.
